Petrol gauze is a very finely woven stainless steel mesh. This mesh stops even the smallest creatures. You can use it to properly shield your own arena or ant farm.

Sand Loam Combination 200 gram  

A combination of sand and loam (clay), specially mixed by us (manually) for use in an Ant Farm or Terrarium. This combination ensures good stability so that excavated tunnels and chambers do not collapse. The color scheme is a mix of red and yellow, the overall texture is finer than the photo shows.

Because the sand is very fine, it is important to first moisten the sand loam after filling or decorating, so that it becomes firm. After it is dry, the ants can be placed or connected.

The price is per 200 grams. The content of the Ant Farm determines how many grams you need. Our advice is to fill a maximum of 2/3 of the Ant Farm with this sand loam combination, so that there is room for the ants to raise and move sand, to arrange their own environment.

Length x width x height in centimeters is the volume in cm3
With 1000 grams of sand you fill approximately 600 cm3

I-Connector  

This is a high-quality, I-shaped connector. The ribbed design ensures a good grip on the hose. This connector is intended to join two pieces of hose together. Handy when you have many loose pieces of hose or when you have accidentally cut a wrong piece.

Application  

You can easily connect habitats to an Ant Farm with this. Give your ants more possibilities. In nature, they also divide their chambers/habitats underground several times and emerge from the ground in different places.

Specifications  

The I-connector has an inner diameter of just under 10 mm. This means you can tightly connect a hose with an outer diameter of 10 mm. The ultimate combination is with our transparent 8/10 mm hoses.

Deluxe Feeding Tray  

Handy tray for offering food to your ants. It is easy to place in any arena we sell (note: does not fit in the feeding dish).
This deluxe version of the feeding tray makes it very easy indeed, as you have space for all food sources suitable for every ant species. These include honeydew, sugar water, and fruit flies. Clearly indicated with the correct letter above the hole for the food. Easy to clean and suitable for reuse.

Please note: we advise still using a small piece of cotton wool in the feeding tray and offering the liquid in it. Otherwise, ants may drown if they get stuck in the liquid.

The feeding tray is 5 by 2 centimeters and 0.5 cm high. The openings are 0.25 cm deep.

Antcover for Ant Farm Master & Universe  

Antcover to protect the ants in your Ant Farm Master Emperor. This antcover has a luxurious appearance and is of durable quality.

You can optionally leave a part of the Emperor exposed to light. You can then cut off a part of the cover if needed. However, it is always better to keep the nest part completely sheltered for the ants. You cannot see through the cover.

Test Tube Cap  

This is a high-quality, ventilated cap for test tubes, sizes M and L.

Application  

This cap can be used instead of a cotton plug. Especially when a colony is very young (a few workers), breeding and feeding can take place in the test tube, and this cap comes in handy. The cap can also be used well during periods like winter dormancy.

Specifications  

The cap has a length of approximately 3.5 cm. The inner diameter is approximately 12 mm and the outer diameter is approximately 19 mm. This means the cap can be used for all test tubes up to a diameter of 18 mm.

Antcover for Ant Farm Emperor

This HeatPack 40 hours is the medium-sized and powerful multi-functional warmer also known as AquaPack or simply HeatPack. The heat pack has many applications. Although primarily used for transporting animals and plants in winter, it can also be used to keep many other temperature-sensitive goods safe during transport in low-temperature conditions. These can be electronic goods, as well as chemical and biological products.
Furthermore, you can use this HeatPack 40 hours warmer to extend the life of your batteries by keeping them warm in a cold environment. Photographers, in particular, appreciate these warmers during their expeditions.

Loose plastic breeding pot

Loose breeding pot including ventilation grille

This plastic breeding pot is intended for breeding fruit flies. Due to the ventilation grille in the lid, the pot is also suitable for keeping other (small) insects.

Fruit Fly Culture Medium

Culture medium, enough to start a new culture in our separate plastic breeding pots with ventilated lids. The breeding pots are also available separately. Mix the culture medium with lukewarm water until it is well blended; it should be firm but not liquid (like yogurt). Then place cardboard shavings or wood wool in the pot, and your culture is ready. Add at least 50 fruit flies and find a nice warm spot in the house.

The bag contains approximately 50 grams, suitable for starting 1 fruit fly culture.

Gelly  

A test tube filled with gel. This gel provides a variety of nutrients to the ants, both moisture and nutrition are present in it. With a bit of luck, you'll also see the ants digging small tunnels in it.

Ideal as an extra food source or as backup food during the holiday period. Unlike sugar water and honeydew, you can leave this solid food source in your arena for weeks. This way, you don't have to worry about it.
